Dieticians are experts in nutrition and food. Their role is to advise the patients on how to modify their lifestyle by recommending dietary changes. Registered dieticians are dieticians who meet professional and academic requirements who can help the individual set goals and educate them on how to reach them by advising patients on how to modify their dietary habits.
Mireille Guibord, B.Sc., Dt.P.
Dietitian
A graduate of McGill University with a degree in Dietetics & Human Nutrition and member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (OPDQ), Mireille works in Montreal’s West Island since a few years with a variety of clients such as elderly, adults and young people, as well as athletes. Her scope of practice includes several disciplines such as weight management, sports nutrition, food allergies/intolerances, malnutrition, health problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, diseases of the digestive system, tube feeding, dysphagia, as well as the management of menus. Mireille is appreciated by her clientele for her dedication to provide simple, practical and individualised advice to change the diet in order to achieve one’s objectives.
